Greeting from A20 Global Social Leadership Summit on Child Advocacy!
As a concrete step of joint efforts for child rights from Beijing Children’s Legal Aid and Research Center (BCLARC) and Alibaba Group, the first A20 Global Social Leadership Summit on Child Advocacy is going to be held on March 17-26th 2018 in Beijing. It is a fully funded project which includes international flights, registration fee, and local accommodation for participants.
The Summit is going to invite 20 NGO leaders from developing countries to share context-sensitive best practice of child advocacy and also to have thought provoking discussion on how to build a constructive and also effective, multi-disciplinary platform for peer sharing and peer learning among NGOs on child rights in developing countries.
BCLARC founded in Beijing in 1999, is so far the most influential NGO on child rights in China which has developed a comprehensive child advocacy model from direct legal service, to evidence-based research, to legislative and policy-making advocacy to rights education of children and relevant stakeholders. It has also developed the biggest network of 8900 pro bono lawyers for child rights in China. Alibaba Group as the biggest e-commerce platform in China has a strong commitment to social responsibility especially toward children as the hope of the future.
It will be very appreciated if you could help disseminate the information to NGOs on child advocacy with sound reputation in developing countries. The application procedure is simple. The potential candidates just need to fill in the enclosed application form together with a resume, a recent photo, and one or two recommendation letters send to both emails a20summit@gmail.com and a20summit@outlook.com.
